Turning the Machine Off

Note
Check that the machine is not receiving a fax or other data from a computer before shutting down.
Holding the power switch down for 5 seconds or more forcibly turns the machine off. Use this method only if a problem occurs.
For troubleshooting of this machine, refer to "Troubleshooting".
1.
Press the power switch for approximately a second.
The "Shutdown in progress. Please wait. The machine turns off automatically." message is displayed on the operator panel, and the
power switch LED lamp flashes at approximately one-second intervals.
After a while, the machine automatically turns off, and the power switch LED lamp goes out.
