1.
Select [System Preferences] from the Apple menu.

Click [Sharing].

Check the name of [Computer Name].
You need the computer name you checked when you register the destination in the machine. Write it down in "Name of the
transmission destination computer" on the setting information sheet.

Right-click the created folder, and then [Sharing].

For Mac OS X 10.6.8, select [System Preferences] > [Network], select the network service to use, check the name in the
NetBIOS field in the detailed setting, and then write the name down in "Name of the transmission destination computer".

Create a folder in which documents are saved on the computer.
An example of creating the folder named "share" is covered here.
You need the folder name you created when you register the destination in the machine. Write it down in "Name of the shared
folder" on the setting information sheet.

Select [System Preferences] from the Apple menu.

Click [Sharing].

Select the [File Sharing] check box.

Click [+] under [Shared Folders].

Select the created folder, and then click [Add].

Click [Options].

Select the [Share files and folders using SMB (Windows)] check box.
