Adding Semi-transparent Text (Watermarks)

For Windows PCL Printer Driver
For Windows XPS Printer Driver
Note
This function is not available with the Mac OS X printer driver.
Watermarks are not printed properly for booklet printing.
When the [Background] check box is selected on the [Watermark] screen, a watermark may not be printed depending on the
application. In such a case, clear the [Background] check box.
For Windows PCL Printer Driver
1.
Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
2.
Click [Preferences].
3.
Select the [Extend] tab.
4.
Click [Watermarks].
5.
Click [New].
6.
Specify the text, size, and angle, and then click [OK].
7.
Click [OK].
8.
Change other settings if necessary, and then click [OK].
9.
Click [Print] on the [Print] screen.
Printing starts.
For Windows XPS Printer Driver
1.
Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
2.
Click [Preferences].
3.
Select the [Job Options] tab.
4.
Click [Watermarks].
5.
Click [New].
6.
Specify the text, size, and angle, and then click [OK].
7.
Click [OK].
8.
Change other settings if necessary, and then click [OK].
9.
Click [Print] on the [Print] screen.
Printing starts.
