gine and transmission asse mbly to reduce power
loss. heat and noise resulting from friction. Because
ball beari ngs arc precision made parts. they must be
maintained
by
pro per lubricatio n and mai ntenance.
If
a
beari ng is damaged, it must be rep laced imme-
d iately. How ever, when insta llin g a new bearing,
care should be taken to prevent damage
