sheave

faces up.

same number of
spacer
washers
that
were removed
onto the shaft.
The
spacer
washers
are
used to
adj
ust
belt deflecti
on
and
several
may be
installed.
but the
re must
always be
at least
one
spacer
between the
sheaves.

Install the
movable
sheave onto
the
fixed
sheave
so
the belt
surfaces face
each
o
ther.
NOTE
The positioning of the ends

spring
will
determine the

tern . The
greatest
amount
of
spring
tension
will
cause the
engine rpm

up-shift

will

unit
