idle
speed
increases, the

cable
free play

be increased

the throttle

e is routed
incorrectly.

Check
for
smooth
throttle
operation
in
all
han-
dlebar
positions. The
thrott
le lever
should move
smoo
th
ly
an
d
return
witho ut

ind
ing.
NOTE
The 1999
and
later models are
1101
equipped
with
a cable
adjuster
at
the
carbure tor
end
ofthe
throttle
cable.

fuel
tank
as

rubber
boot
up

the throttle
cable
adjuster.

locknut and turn the
adjuster

correct
amount
ofcable
free-play is

the
locknut.
