1MZ–FE ENGINE – LUBRICATION SYSTEM
8. REMOVE GENERATOR
Remove the 2 bolts and generator.
9. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
Remove the bolt and position sensor.
10. REMOVE OIL HOLE COVER PLATE
Remove the 4 bolts and cover plate.
11. REMOVE A/C COMPRESSOR WITHOUT
DISCONNECTING HOSES
(a) Disconnect the A/C compressor connector.
(b) Remove the drive belt.
(c) Remove the 5 bolts, 2 nuts and drive belt adjusting
bar bracket, and disconnect the A/C compressor.
(d) Move the compressor aside and suspend it.
12. REMOVE A/C COMPRESSOR HOUSING
BRACKET
Remove the 3 bolts and A/C compressor housing
bracket.
