Disassembly Note
Differential gear assembly
1. Mount the differential carrier on the
SST.
Output
shaft
1. Remove the output shaft with a pry bar as shown in the
figure.
Bearing cap
1. Mark one bearing cap and the carrier.
Adjusting screw
1. Mark one adjusting screw and the carrier.
Nut (Companion flange)
1. Hold the companion flange with the
SST
and remove the
nut.
Companion flange
1. Remove the companion flange with the
SST.
