NautoPilot 5000 Series
Message
CAN2 bus
communication is down.
Default (incorrect)
system configuration in
use.
Incorrect analogue
output (actual rudder
value).
Autopilot Interface
FRAM read/ write check
failed.
Possible cause

Remedy
Refer also to the manual
for the Autopilot Inter-
face.
-- Check CAN bus
connector cable.
-- Check
termination
(end device).
-- Check address/group.
Refer also to the manual
for the Autopilot Inter-
face.
Switch to "Read from
FRAM" at the Autopilot
Interface and restart the
system.
(Re)configure the sys-
tem (Autopilot Interface).
Refer also to the manual
for the Autopilot Inter-
face.
At the Autopilot Inter-
face:
Remove plugs B39 and
B44, start BITE again.
If fault occurs again:
-- Check Ref. voltage
(MP4 and MP8).
Adjust to 5.00V
with potentiometer
R266 and restart the
system (Autopilot
Interface).
-- Replace Autopilot
Interface.
Refer also to the manual
for the Autopilot Inter-
face.
FRAM communication at
the Autopilot Interface
not possible, replace Au-
topilot Interface.
