Push the cylinder upward.

Only push the cylinder as far up as necessary to take the piston pin out.

Remove the piston pin retainer
–
Remove the piston pin.

Take off the cylinder and piston.
–
Push the piston upward out of the cylinder.

If no further work is to be performed on the cylinder and piston, the piston
can remain in the cylinder.

Take off locating pins
–
Remove O-rings

Remove spindle
–
Remove the timing chain guide rail

Remove spindle
–
Remove the timing chain tensioning rail

Remove screws
–
Take off the retaining bracket.

Screw a fitting screw into spindle
–
Hold the timing chain and remove spindle
