DISASSEMBLY
Remove the dust seal.
Remove the oil seal stopper ring.
Do not scratch the
fork tube sliding
surface.
Remove the fork cap and O-ring.
The fork cap is
under spring
pressure; use care
when loosening it.
Remove the fork spring from the fork tube.
Pour out the fork fluid by pumping the fork tube sev-
eral times.
Hold the fork slider in a vise with soft jaws.
Remove the fork center bolt and sealing washer.
If the fork piston
turns with the fork
center bolt,
temporarily install
the fork spring and
fork cap.
