ip igmp join
This command manually joins a multicast group to a local interface.
Syntax
ip igmp join-group group-address
group-address
Syntax of the "no" Form
The no form of this command cancels membership in a group:
no ip igmp join-group group-address

The following example joins the XSR to multicast group 225.2.2.1:
XSR(config-if<F1>)#ip igmp join-group 225.2.2.1
ip igmp last-member-query-count
This command configures the retransmit count at which the XSR sends IGMP group‐specific host
query messages.
Syntax
ip igmp last-member-query-count count
count
Syntax of the "no" Form
The no form of this command sets this count to the default:
no ip igmp last-member-query-count

Example
The following example changes the IGMP group‐specific host query retransmit count to 3:
XSR(config-if<F1>)#ip igmp last-member-query-count 3
Address of the multicast group.
XSR(config-if<xx>)#
Retransmit count, ranging from 1 to 7.
