Procedure
Proceed as follows to view the settings of an F-runtime group - or to adapt them:
1. In the project navigation, double-click below the PLC involved on "Safety Administration",
e.g. "CNC_1 > PLC_1 > Safety Administration".
2. In the Safety Administration Editor switch to "F-runtime group".
3. You can also adapt the following settings:
Safety Integrated (with SINAMICS S120)
Commissioning Manual, 02/2020, A5E46305916B AB
Setting
Calling block
Main safety block
I-DB for the main safety
block
Maximum cycle time of the
F-runtime group
Warning limit, cycle time of
the F-runtime group
Purpose
FOB_RTG1[OB123] is the default setting. This block is a cyclic inter‐
rupt OB, which means that within an execution time, the safety pro‐
gram is called at fixed intervals in time.
In the drop-down list you can define a block other than the calling block:
● If you select an LAD, FBD or STL block, then the call in the block is
automatically updated.
● If you select a block in another programming language, then you
must adapt the call yourself.
Setting options:
● Name: Names for the FOB
● Event class (only when creating): For an FOB, you can select be‐
tween event classes "Program cycle", "Cyclic interrupt" and "Syn‐
chronous cycle".
● Number: If necessary, you can manually change the F-OB number
that the system suggests. When doing this, observe the number
ranges permissible for the particular event class.
● Cycle time: Select a cycle time that is less than the "Maximum cycle
time of the F-runtime group" and less than the "Warning limit cycle
time of the F-runtime group". The cycle time replaces the execution
time.
● Phase offset: Select a phase offset that is less than the cycle time.
● Priority: If possible, select a priority that is higher than the priority of
all other OBs.
Default setting: Main_Safety_RTG1 [FB1010]
In the drop-down list you can select a block other than the previously
created F-block.
Default setting: Main_safety_RTG1_DB [DB1010]
If the main safety block is an FB, then in the drop-down list you can
adapt the associated I-DB.
The F‑CPU monitors the F‑cycle time in the F‑runtime group.
For "Maximum cycle time of the F-runtime group", select the maximum
time that may elapse between two calls of this F-runtime group.
You must parameterize the "Warning limit cycle time of the F-runtime
group" lower or the same as the "Maximum cycle time of the F-runtime
group".
