5. (Figure 1): Remove the drive gears.

WARNING: Disconnect power cord.
2. Remove the document handler.
3. Remove the right and left sidecovers
and the upper rear cover.
4.
Remove the platen.

Use care not to break the Document
Sensor when removing the Front Feed
Roll.
