Naming a project

Here's how you can assign a name to your project for easier management.
Changes you make to the project name apply to the current project.
1.
Press [PROJECT].
The PROJECT MENU screen (Screen Guide; p. 162) will appear.
2.
With the cursor located in the upper row of icons, press [F1](Name). Alternatively, select
the RENAME PROJ icon and press [ENTER].
The EDIT PROJECT NAME popup (Screen Guide; p. 3) will appear. Enter the desired name.
You can assign a name of up to twelve characters.
3.
When you've finished entering the name, press [F5](OK).

Protecting a project

Here's how you can protect a project so that it cannot be accidentally deleted or overwritten.
1.
Press [PROJECT].
The PROJECT MENU screen (Screen Guide; p. 162) will appear.
2.
With the cursor located in the upper row of icons, press [F2](Protect). Alternatively, select
the SET PROJ PROTECTION icon and press [ENTER].
The SET PROJECT PROTECTION screen (Screen Guide; p. 163) will appear. The display will list the projects
saved on the hard disk.
3.
Move the cursor to the project that you want to protect, and press [F4](Protect On).
The project will be protected. You can press [F5](Protect Off) to turn off the protect setting.
