Assigning multiple samples to a patch

Assign multiple samples you have captured on sampling or import process to the pads as partials.
If you've imported multiple WAV or AIFF files, or multiple tracks from an audio CD, you won't be able to select
and assign individual velocity pads.
1.
Press [F5](AsgnToPatch) when the Select Quick Assign message (Screen Guide; p. 213) is
displayed.
The PATCH QUICK ASSIGN (MULTIPLE) popup (Screen Guide; p. 218) will appear.
2.
Specify the Part parameter which you want to assign the part number of the instrument.
Samples are assigned as partials to the patch of the instrument pad you specified using the Part parameter.
3.
Specify the Assign To parameter which you want to assign the pad bank number and pad
number (note number).
4.
Press [F5](Execute).
The sample will assign to the specified pads.
Samples will be assigned consecutively, starting with the pad bank number and velocity pad number you
specified using the Assign To parameter. If you attempt to assign a sample to a velocity pad for which a sample
already exists, a message will ask "Overwrite sure?" Press [F5](Yes) if you want to overwrite the sample, or
press [F1](No) if you decide to stop assigning samples.
