Using effects
The MV-8800 contains three effects processors: MFX (multi-effects), delay/chorus, and reverb.

Switching the effects on/off

Each of the MV-8800's internal effects can be switched on or off. You can switch the effects off if you're editing
a sound and want to hear it without effects, or if you want to use an external effect processor instead of the
built-in effects.
For details on the MV-8800's built-in effects, refer to "Preset Patches and Algorithm List" (Appendices; p. 14).
1.
Press [EFFECTS].
The EFFECTS screen (Screen Guide; p. 229) will appear.

Use CURSOR [

effect becomes the "current effect."
The effect you select is enclosed in a frame and highlighted.
3.
Press [F4](FX On/Off).
Each time you press this, the current effect will be switched on or off.
The effect on/off settings are remembered for each song.
