Applying a fade-out to the sample (Fade-out)

This operation modifies the data so that the volume will gradually decrease between the point you specify and
the End Point.
1.
Access the SAMPLE MANAGER screen as described in "Viewing a list of samples" (p. 121).
2.
Press [F5](Command).
The SELECT SAMPLE EDIT COMMAND popup (Screen Guide; p. 132) will appear.
3.
Select "Fade Out" and press [F5](Select).
The FADE OUT popup (Screen Guide; p. 139) will appear.
4.
Specify the value of the Start Point parameter.
The fade-out will be applied between the Start Point you specify and the End Point of the sample.
The volume will gradually decrease from the Start Point, and will reach 0 (zero) at the End Point of the sample.
5.
Set the Replace parameter.
If this is on (✔), the edited result will overwrite the original sample.
6.
Press [F5](Execute).
The fade-out will be applied to the sample.
