Using the MV-8800 in Multi Timbre Sampler Mode

You can use the MV-8800 as a multi-timbral sound module.
To do so, put the MV-8800 in "Multi Timbre Sampler mode." In Multi Timbre Sampler mode, multiple channels
of MIDI performance data can be received from a connected external MIDI sequencer and used to play the
MV-8800's instruments and audio phrases.
Certain limitations apply when Multi Timbre Sampler mode is on. For details, refer to "Performance Data Flow
in Multi Timbre Sampler Mode" (p. 299) and "Limitations when Multi Timbre Sampler Mode is On" (p. 299).
● Playing the MV-8800 from an externally-connected sequencer

When the Multi Timbre Sampler Mode parameter is on, your external MIDI device will also be able to play audio
phrases on the channel specified by the Audio Phrase Rx Channel parameter.
5.
Start playback on your external sequencer.
