Set the point in the CD track at which importing is to start with the In
Time parameter and the point at which importing is to stop with the
Out Time parameter, then press [F5](Execute).
The sounds in the specified range on the CD track are sampled and imported into wave memory. The
RESULT popup (Screen Guide; p. 211) will appear.

Press [F3](Quick Assign).
The Select Quick Assign message (Screen Guide; p. 213) will appear.

Press [F3](AsgnToAPhrs).
The AUDIO PHRASE QUICK ASSIGN popup (Screen Guide; p. 214) will appear.

Set the pad bank number and pad number to which you want to assign
the sample with the Assign To parameter, then press [F5] (Execute).
The sample will be assigned to the specified velocity pad.
After pressing [AUDIO PHRASES], you can then tap the velocity pad to play the sampled audio CD
sound.
