Creating a new project

1.
Press [PROJECT].
The PROJECT MENU screen (Screen Guide; p. 162) will appear.

With the cursor located in the lower row of icons, press [F1](Create). Alternatively, you can
directly select the CREATE NEW PROJ icon and press [ENTER].
The CREATE NEW PROJECT screen (Screen Guide; p. 166) will appear.
For details on the parameters, refer to "CREATE NEW PROJECT screen" (Screen Guide; p. 166).
3.
Set the Copy From Source Project parameters.
This lets you copy samples or parameter settings from a desired project to the new project. Use [F4] (Select
Proj) to select the project that contains the samples or parameters you want to copy, and check (✔) the items
that you want to copy.
If you don't want to copy any data from another project, clear the check boxes for all items.
4.
When you've finished making settings, press [F5](Execute).
A new project will be created, and will become the current project.
● If the display asks "Save Current Project before creating new project?"
Your changes will be lost unless you save the current project before creating the new project.

To discard your changes and create the new project.
[F5](Yes)
To save current project before creating new project.
[EXIT]
Cancels the creating the new project operation.
If you don't save the current project at the "Save Current Project before creating new project?" prompt,
there is no way for you to recover that data (unless you have previously made a backup of it). Roland
accepts no responsibility for the recovery of lost data, nor for any damages that may result from such
loss.
