Directly recording an audio input (Direct Recording)

Direct Recording is a function that directly records an audio source from the analog inputs. This lets you record
in the same way as on a multi-track recorder.
1.
Press [SYSTEM].
The SYSTEM MENU screen (Screen Guide; p. 172) will appear.
2.
Select the GLOBAL icon, and press [ENTER].
The GLOBAL screen (Screen Guide; p. 173) will appear.
3.
Set Input Select parameter to specify the input source you want to record.

Access the SONG screen (Screen Guide; p. 8) or the PATTERN screen (Screen Guide; p. 91).

Use CURSOR [
Selected track is highlighted (that means current track). Recording occurs on the current track.

Press [REC ( )].
The REC indicator will blink, and the RECORDING PARAMETER (AUDIO) popup (Screen Guide; p. 19) will
appear.
7.
Set the realtime-recording parameters.
Move the cursor to each parameter, and use the VALUE dial or [DEC] [INC] to set the value.
