Editing events individually
You can make the following settings in the EVENT LIST screen.
• Step Time (The unit by which the current time will move when you press STEP [
• Track parameters of the current track
• Solo switch of the current track
1.
Access the EVENT LIST screen as described in "Event list editing" (p. 181).
2.
Press [MENU].
The MENU popup will appear.
You can make the following settings in the MENU popup.
• Step Time
Displays the STEP TIME popup (Screen Guide; p. 58). Specifies the unit by which the current time
will move when you press STEP [
• Track Parameter
Displays the TRACK PARAMETER popup (for MIDI track).
• Solo On/Off
Turns solo on/off for the current track. When Solo is on, a "SOLO" indication appears at the right of
the track name.

Inserting performance data (Create Event)

Here's how to insert new performance data into the desired location within a MIDI track.
For details on the types of performance data you can insert, refer to "Events Handled with MIDI Tracks" (p. 150).
1.
Access the EVENT LIST screen as described in "Event list editing" (p. 181).
2.
Use CURSOR [
insert a data event.
When you use CURSOR [
transmitted from the MIDI OUT connector.
3.
Press [F1](Create).
The CREATE EVENT popup (Screen Guide; p. 25) will appear.
4.
Use CURSOR [
will be inserted.
5.
Press [F5](Select).
The performance data will be inserted. The event will be inserted with default values; edit the values as
desired.
If you are not satisfied with the result of executing this command, press [UNDO/REDO] to return to the state
prior to execution (p. 166).
