Editing a region you specify (Sequence Editing)

In the SEQUENCE EDIT screen, you can edit the performance data (MIDI events, audio events, pattern
events) in the specified track number or region.
In the SEQUENCE EDIT screen, the commands that are available for you to execute will depend on the type
of track you've selected for editing. The "List of available editing commands" (p. 187) uses the following icons
to distinguish these commands.

executed on a MIDI track.
1.
Access the SONG screen (Screen Guide; p. 8) or the PATTERN screen (Screen Guide; p. 91).

Press [F5](Seq Edit).
The SEQUENCE EDIT screen (Screen Guide; p. 31) will appear.

Move the cursor to the track that you want to edit, and press [F1](Track Sel).
A ■ (white) symbol will be added to the track number, indicating that this track is selected for editing. You can
select more than one track for editing — simply repeat step 3.
4.
Move the current time location to the beginning of the region that you want to edit, and
press [F3](Rgn In/Out).
This specifies the beginning of the editing region.
5.
Move the current time location to the end of the region that you want to edit, and press
[F3](Rgn In/Out).
This specifies the end of the editing region. Your editing operations will apply to the region between the In and
Out points you specified in steps 4 and 5.

Press [F5](Command).
The SELECT SEQUENCE EDIT COMMAND popup (Screen Guide; p. 34) will appear.
The list of editing commands will differ according to the screen that is displayed. For a list of the available
commands, refer to "List of available editing commands" (p. 187).
