Making a partial settings

To adjust the pitch

Adjust the Partial Coarse Tune and Partial Fine Tune.

To adjust the brightness of the sound by filter

Adjust the Filter Type that selects the type of filter to be used, and adjust the Cutoff Frequency which specifies
the frequency which the filter will be applied.
When you're in the PARTIAL EDIT screen, the top panel sliders 1–4 correspond to the Cutoff Frequency,
Resonance, Filter Envelope Time 1(A) and Time4(R) parameters respectively.
If you want to make more detailed edits, press [F3](Filter).
The PARTIAL EDIT (FILTER) screen (Screen Guide; p. 143) will appear.

To adjust the way in which the volume changes

Adjust the Amp Envelope Time 1(A), Time 3(D), Level 3(S) and Time 4(R).
When you're in the PARTIAL EDIT screen, the top panel sliders 5–8 correspond to the Amp Envelope Time
1(A), Time 3(D), Level 3(S) and Time 4(R) parameters respectively.
If you want to make more detailed edits, press [F4](Amplifier).
The PARTIAL EDIT (AMPLIFIER) screen (Screen Guide; p. 145) will appear.

To add modulation to the sound

Use the LFO Wave Form setting to select the desired waveform, and use LFO Rate to adjust the speed of
modulation.
Higher settings will increase the amount of modulation for Pitch Depth, Pan Depth, Filter Depth, and Amp
Depth.
If you want to make more detailed edits, press [F5](LFO).
The PARTIAL EDIT (LFO) screen (Screen Guide; p. 147) will appear.
