Setting for the MV-8800's sliders and buttons

1.
Press [SYSTEM].
The SYSTEM MENU screen (Screen Guide; p. 172) will appear.
2.
With the cursor located in the upper row of icons, press [F2](Pad/Panel). Alternatively,
select the PAD/PANEL icon and press [ENTER].
The PAD screen (Screen Guide; p. 174) will appear.
3.
Press [F2](Panel).
The PANEL screen (Screen Guide; p. 175) will appear.
• Shift Lock
Specifies how the [SHIFT] button will operate.
• Foot Switch
Specifies the behavior of the device connected to the FOOT SWITCH connector.
• Foot Switch Polarity
Switches the polarity of the foot switch.
• Slider Mode
Specifies how operation will occur when the position of the slider differs from the value of the parameter.
• Knob Mode
Specifies how operation will occur when the C (control) knob position differs from the value of the parameter.
• Tap Tempo
If this is turned Off, the Tap Tempo function will not be available.
• Tap Resolution
Specifies the beat interval by which the tempo will be set when you use the Tap Tempo function.
