Managing files (File Utility)
Deleting a folder or file
Here's how to delete an unwanted file or folder.
●
You must never delete a folder other than those described in "Folder structure" (p. 242). Such folders
and files are used by the MV-8800's system. If you delete them, the system will not operate correctly,
and important data will be lost.
●
There is no way to recover data that has been deleted. (Unless, of course, you have previously made a
backup of that data.) Roland Corporation can accept no responsibility for any loss of data or any
damages you incur as a result of such loss.
1.
Use the cursor to select the folder or file that you want to delete.
2.
Press [F5](Command).
The SELECT FILE COMMAND popup (Screen Guide; p. 191) will appear.
3.
Select "Delete" and press [F5](Select).
