Try using the sequencer to record a performance.

Recording a pattern

This procedure records performances with the velocity pads to patterns.
Setting up a pattern

Press [PATTERN].
The PATTERN screen (Screen Guide; p. 91) will appear.

Press [F1](Pattern List).
The PATTERN LIST screen (Screen Guide; p. 96) will appear.

Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to select a pattern with the name "(Empty)" and
press [F5](Select).
A pattern (with a time signature of 4/4 and length of two measures) without anything recorded to it is
set up, and the PATTERN screen (Screen Guide; p. 91) is displayed.
