Services you m ay use t o access t he Swit ch are list ed here.
Select t his opt ion for t he corresponding services t hat you want t o allow t o access t he
Swit ch.
For Telnet , SSH, FTP , HTTP or HTTPS services, you m ay change t he default service port by
t yping t he new port num ber in t he Se r vice Por t field. I f you change t he default port
num ber t hen you will have t o let people ( who wish t o use t he service) know t he new port
num ber for t hat service.
Type how m any m inut es ( from 1 t o 255) a m anagem ent session can be left idle before
t he session t im es out . Aft er it t im es out you have t o log in wit h your password again. Very
long idle t im eout s m ay have securit y risks.
Click Apply t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses
t hese changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion
panel t o save your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Click Ca n ce l t o begin configuring t his screen afresh.
