DESCRIPTION
Use t his sect ion t o specify t he SNMP version and com m unit y ( password) values.
Select t he SNMP version for t he Swit ch. The SNMP version on t he Swit ch m ust m at ch t he
version on t he SNMP m anager. Choose SNMP version 2c ( v2 c) , SNMP version 3 ( v3 ) or
bot h ( v3 v2 c) .
SNMP version 2c is backwards com pat ible wit h SNMP version 1.
Ent er t he Ge t Com m u n it y st ring, which is t he password for t he incom ing Get- and
Get Next- request s from t he m anagem ent st at ion.
The Ge t Com m un it y st ring is only used by SNMP m anagers using SNMP version 2c or
lower.
