Use t his screen t o specify whet her port s are t rust ed or unt rust ed port s for DHCP snooping.
Not e: I f DHCP snooping is enabled but t here are no t r ust ed port s, DHCP request s cannot
reach t he DHCP server.
You can also specify t he m axim um num ber for DHCP packet s t hat each port ( t rust ed or unt rust ed)

DESCRIPTION
Ent er t he locat ion of a DHCP snooping dat abase, and click Re n e w if you want t he
Swit ch t o load it . You can use t his t o load dynam ic bindings from a different DHCP
snooping dat abase t han t he one specified in Age n t URL.
When t he Swit ch loads dynam ic bindings from a DHCP snooping dat abase, it does
not discard t he current dynam ic bindings first . I f t here is a conflict , t he Swit ch
keeps t he dynam ic binding in volat ile m em ory and updat es t he Bin din g collision s
count er in t he D H CP Sn ooping screen (
Click Apply t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch
loses t hese changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he
t op navigat ion panel t o save your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you
are done configuring.
Click t his t o reset t he values in t his screen t o t heir last- saved values.
