Use t his screen t o m anage st at ic bindings for DHCP snooping and ARP inspect ion. St at ic bindings
are uniquely ident ified by t he MAC address and VLAN I D. Each MAC address and VLAN I D can only
be in one st at ic binding. I f you t ry t o creat e a st at ic binding wit h t he sam e MAC address and VLAN
I D as an exist ing st at ic binding, t he new st at ic binding replaces t he original one. To open t his
screen, click Adva n ce d Applica t ion > I P Sou r ce Gu a r d > I Pv4 Sou r ce Gua r d Se t up > St a t ic

exam ple, 2 d3 h 4 m 5 s m eans t he binding is st ill valid for 2 days, 3 hours, 4 m inut es, and
5 seconds. This field displays in finit y if t he binding is always valid ( for exam ple, a st at ic
binding) .
This field displays how t he Swit ch learned t he binding.
st a t ic: This binding was learned from inform at ion provided m anually by an
adm inist rat or.
dh cp- snoopin g: This binding was learned by snooping DHCP packet s.
This field displays t he source VLAN I D in t he binding.
This field displays t he port num ber in t he binding. I f t his field is blank, t he binding applies
t o all port s.
