m essage wit h a Rapid Com m it opt ion t o obt ain inform at ion from t he DHCPv6 server by a
rapid t wo- m essage exchange. The Swit ch discards any Reply m essages t hat do not include a
Rapid Com m it opt ion. The DHCPv6 server should also support t he Rapid Com m it opt ion t o
have it work well.
Opt ions Select D N S t o have t he Swit ch obt ain DNS server I Pv6 addresses and/ or select D om a in - List
t o have t he Swit ch obt ain a list of dom ain nam es from t he DHCP server.
I nform at ion Specify t he t im e int erval ( from 600 t o 4294967295 seconds) at which t he Swit ch exchanges
Refresh ot her configurat ion inform at ion wit h a DHCPv6 server again.
Minim um
Apply Click Apply t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese
changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion panel t o
save your changes t o t he nonvolat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Ca n ce l t o begin configuring t his screen afresh.
Clear Click Cle a r t o reset t he fields t o t he fact ory default s.
I ndex This is t he int erface index num ber. Click on an index num ber t o change t he set t ings.
I nt erface This is t he nam e of t he I Pv6 int erface you creat ed.
