26.7 ARP Inspection Status

Use t his screen t o look at t he current list of MAC address filt ers t hat were creat ed because t he
Swit ch ident ified an unaut horized ARP packet . When t he Swit ch ident ifies an unaut horized ARP
packet , it aut om at ically creat es a MAC address filt er t o block t raffic from t he source MAC address
and source VLAN I D of t he unaut horized ARP packet . To open t his screen, click Adva nce d
Applica t ion > I P Sour ce Gu a r d > I Pv4 Sour ce Gua r d Se t up > ARP I nspe ct ion .
Chapter 26 IP Source Guard
DESCRIPTION
Ent er t he I D num ber of t he VLAN you want t o configure here.
Ent er t he num ber of port ( s) t o which you want t o apply t he specified DHCP opt ion 82
profile.
You can ent er m ult iple port s separat ed by ( no space) com m a ( ,) or hyphen ( - ) . For
exam ple, ent er " 3- 5" for port s 3, 4, and 5. Ent er " 3,5,7" for port s 3, 5, and 7.
Select a pre- defined DHCP opt ion 82 profile t hat t he Sw it ch applies t o t he specified
port ( s) in t his VLAN. The Swit ch adds t he inform at ion ( such as slot num ber, port
num ber, VLAN I D and/ or syst em nam e) specified in t he profile t o DHCP request s t hat it
broadcast s t o t he DHCP VLAN, if specified, or VLAN. You can specify t he DHCP VLAN in
t he D H CP Sn oopin g Con figu r e screen ( see
The profile you select here has priorit y over t he one you select in t he D H CP Sn oopin g
> Configur e > V LAN screen.
Click t his t o creat e a new ent ry or t o updat e an exist ing one.
This saves your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese
changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion
panel t o save your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Click t his t o reset t he values above based on t he last select ed ent ry or, if not applicable,
t o clear t he fields above.
Click Cle a r t o reset t he fields t o t he fact ory default s.
This field displays a sequent ial num ber for each ent ry. Click an index num ber t o change
t he set t ings.
This field displays t he VLAN t o which t he port ( s) belongs.
This field displays t he port ( s) t o which t he Swit ch applies t he set t ings.
This field displays t he DHCP opt ion 82 profile t hat t he Swit ch applies t o t he port ( s) .
Select t he ent ry( ies) t hat you want t o rem ove in t he D e le t e colum n, t hen click t he
D e le t e but t on t o rem ove t he select ed ent ry( ies) from t he t able.
