Chapter 26 IP Source Guard
DESCRIPTION
This field displays t he current num ber of MAC address filt ers t hat were creat ed because
t he Swit ch ident ified unaut horized ARP packet s.
This field displays a sequent ial num ber for each MAC address filt er.
This field displays t he source MAC address in t he MAC address filt er.
This field displays t he source VLAN I D in t he MAC address filt er.
This field displays t he source port of t he discarded ARP packet .
This field displays how long ( in seconds) t he MAC address filt er rem ains in t he Swit ch.
You can also delet e t he record m anually ( D e le t e ) .
This field displays t he reason t he ARP packet was discarded.
M AC+ VLAN : The MAC address and VLAN I D were not in t he binding t able.
I P: The MAC address and VLAN I D were in t he binding t able, but t he I P address was
not valid.
Por t : The MAC address, VLAN I D, and I P address were in t he binding t able, but t he port
num ber was not valid.
Select an ent ry's check box t o select a specific ent ry. Ot herwise, select t he check box in
t he t able heading row t o select all ent ries.
Check t he ent ry( ies) t hat you want t o rem ove and t hen click D e le t e t o rem ove t he
select ed ent ry( ies) from t he sum m ary t able.
Click Ca n ce l t o clear t he check boxes.
Click Pr e viou s Pa ge or N e x t Pa ge t o show t he previous/ next screen if all st at us
inform at ion cannot be seen in one screen.
