Nam e
Ent er a descript ive nam e for t his rule for ident ifying purposes.
Weight
Ent er a num ber bet ween 0 and 65535 t o specify t he rule's weight . When t he m at ch order is in
m anual m ode in t he Cla ssifie r Globa l Se t t in g screen, a higher weight m eans a higher priorit y.
Log
Select t his opt ion t o have t he Swit ch creat e a log m essage when t he rule is applied and record
t he num ber of m at ched packet s in a part icular t im e int erval.
Note: Make sure you also enable logging in the Classifier Global Setting screen.
Count
Select t his opt ion t o have t he Swit ch count how m any t im es t he rule is applied.
Tim e
Select t he nam e of t he pre- configued schedule t hat you want t o apply t o t he rule. The rule will be
Range
act ive only at t he scheduled dat e and/ or t im e.
I f you select N on e , t he rule will be act ive all t he t im e.
I m gress Port
Port
Type t he port num ber t o which t he rule should be applied. You m ay choose one port only or all
port s ( Any) .
Trunk
Select An y t o apply t he rule t o all t runk groups.
To specify a t runk group, select t he second choice and t ype a t runk group I D.
Layer 2
Specify t he fields below t o configure a layer 2 classifier.
VLAN
Select An y t o classify t raffic from any VLAN or select t he second opt ion and specify t he source
VLAN I D in t he field provided.
Priorit y
Select An y t o classify t raffic from any priorit y level or select t he second opt ion and specify a
priorit y level in t he field provided.
Et hernet
Select an Et hernet t ype or select Ot h e r and ent er t he Et hernet t ype num ber in hexadecim al

Select An y t o apply t he rule t o all MAC addresses.
Address
To specify a source, select M AC/ M a sk t o ent er t he source MAC address of t he packet in valid
MAC address form at ( six hexadecim al charact er pairs) and t ype t he m ask for t he specified MAC
address t o det erm ine which bit s a packet 's MAC address should m at ch.
Ent er " f" for each bit of t he specified MAC address t hat t he t raffic's MAC address should m at ch.
