Use t his screen t o apply a different DHCP opt ion 82 profile t o cert ain port s on t he Swit ch. To open
t his screen, click I P Applica t ion > D H CP > D H CPv4 > Globa l > Por t .

DESCRIPTION
Select t his check box t o enable DHCPv4 relay.
Ent er t he I P address of a DHCPv4 server in dot t ed decim al not at ion.
Select a pre- defined DHCPv4 opt ion 82 profile t hat t he Swit ch applies t o all port s. The
Swit ch adds t he Circuit I D sub- opt ion and/ or Rem ot e I D sub- opt ion specified in t he profile
t o DHCP request s t hat it relays t o a DHCP server.
Click Apply t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese
changes if it is t urned off or loses pow er, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion panel
t o save your changes t o t he non-volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Click Ca n ce l t o begin configuring t his screen afresh.
DESCRIPTION

profile.
You can ent er m ult iple port s separat ed by ( no space) com m a ( ,) or hyphen ( - ) . For
exam ple, ent er " 3- 5" for port s 3, 4, and 5. Ent er " 3,5,7" for port s 3, 5, and 7.
Select a pre- defined DHCP opt ion 82 profile t hat t he Swit ch applies t o t he specified port ( s) .
The Swit ch adds t he Circuit I D sub- opt ion and/ or Rem ot e I D sub- opt ion specified in t he
profile t o DHCP request s t hat it relays t o a DHCP server.
The profile you select here has priorit y over t he one you select in t he D H CP > D H CPv4 >
Globa l screen.
