4.1 Overview
This sect ion int roduces t he configurat ion and funct ions of t he web configurat or.
The web configurat or is an HTML- based m anagem ent int erface t hat allows easy Swit ch set up and
m anagem ent via I nt ernet browser. Use I nt ernet Explorer 9.0 and lat er versions, Mozilla Firefox 21
and lat er versions, Safari 6.0 and lat er versions or Google Chrom e 26.0 and lat er versions. The
recom m ended screen resolut ion is 1024 by 768 pixels.
I n order t o use t he web configurat or you need t o allow:
• Web browser pop- up windows from your device. Web pop- up blocking is enabled by default in
Windows XP SP ( Service Pack) 2.
• JavaScript ( enabled by default ) .
• Java perm issions ( enabled by default ) .

St art your web browser.

192.168.1.1) in t he Loca t ion or Addr e ss field. Press [ ENTER] . Your com put er m ust be in t he sam e
subnet in order t o access t his websit e address.
3 The login screen appears. The default usernam e is a dm in and associat ed default password is
1 2 3 4 . The dat e and t im e display as shown if you have not configured a t im e server nor m anually
