Act ive Select t his t o enable ZULD on t he Swit ch.
Port Use port * t o configure all port s t o have t he sam e set t ings. Alt ernat ively, select individual
port s for different set t ings.

Use t his row only if you want t o m ake som e set t ings t he sam e for all port s. Use t his row
first t o set t he com m on set t ings and t hen m ake adj ust m ent s on a port- by- port basis.
Note: Changes in this row are copied to all the ports as soon as you make them.
Act ive Select t his t o enable ZULD on t he port . ZULD m ust be enabled t o det ect an unidirect ional
link by m onit oring OAMPDUs.
Mode Select N or m a l or Aggr e ssive . I n N or m a l m ode, ZULD only sends a syslog and t rap
when it det ect s a unidirect ional link. I n Aggr e ssive m ode, ZULD shut s down t he port
( put s it int o an Er r D isa ble st at e) as well as sends a syslog and t rap when it det ect s a
unidirect ional link.
Probe Tim e Type t he lengt h of t im e t hat ZULD wait s before declaring t hat a link is unidirect ional.
When t he probe t im e expires, and one port ( eit her on t he Swit ch or t he connect ed
device) st ill has not received an OAMPDU, t hen ZULD declares t hat t he link is
unidirect ional.
The allowed t im e range is from 5- 65535 seconds.
Apply Click Apply t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses
t hese changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion
panel t o save your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click t his t o reset t he values in t his screen t o t heir last- saved values.
