DESCRIPTION
Click Cle a r t o reset t he fields t o t he fact ory default s.
This is t he int erface index num ber. Click on an index num ber t o change t he set t ings.
This is t he nam e of t he I Pv6 int erface you creat ed.
This field displays t he I Pv6 global address and prefix lengt h for t he int erface.
This shows whet her t he int erface I D of t he global address is generat ed using t he EUI - 64
form at .
Select an ent ry's check box t o select a specific ent ry. Ot herwise, select t he check box in t he
t able heading row t o select all ent ries.
Check t he ent ry( ies) t hat you want t o rem ove and t hen click D e le t e t o rem ove t he select ed
ent ry( ies) from t he sum m ary t able.
Click Ca n ce l t o clear t he check boxes.

The Swit ch uses Duplicat e Address Det ect ion ( DAD) wit h neighbor solicit at ion and
advert isem ent m essages t o check whet her an I Pv6 address is already in use before assigning
it t o an int erface, such as t he link- local address it creat es t hrough st at eless address
aut oconfigurat ion.
Specify t he num ber of consecut ive neighbor solicit at ions ( from 0 t o 600) t he Swit ch sends for
t his int erface. Ent er 0 t o t urn off DAD.
Specify t he t im e int erval ( from 1000 t o 3600000 m illiseconds) at which neighbor solicit at ions
are re- sent for t his int erface.
