CDM (Internal Densitometer) Calibration

NOTE:
WHEN TO BE

One of following, calibrated densitometers: McBeth TR-924, Gretag D200-2, X-Rite
301, X-Rite 310, X-Rite 331, X-Rite 341.

Only following densitometers can be used for the calibration: McBeth TR-924,
Gretag D200-2, X-Rite 301, X-Rite 310, X-Rite 331, X-Rite 341.
The densitometer must be calibrated with the calibration wedge of the
densitometer manufacturer according to the calibration procedure of the
densitometer manufacturer.
The calibration of the internal densitometer CDM via an external densitometer is
necessary when the density reproduction check for a specific material is not OK
after a film calibration.
During the troubleshooting procedure.
Adjust the CDM to another calibrated, external densitometer.
To compensate for CDM measurement drifts.
In the webpages - menu 'Service Engineer Tools - Enter Service Command
session' select '6. Calibration - 2. Internal densitometer calibration'.
Follow the instructions on the WebPages. Refer to Figure 3.
Enter the measured densities in the browser window.
Perform a film calibration. See 2.1.
Perform a density reproduction check. See 3.1.
