Connection to the Printer Browser Pages

Connect the Service PC to the
Usage
network
(2)
Start the browser (Internet
Explorer ≥ 5)
(3)
Enter the IP address of the
printer in the address window.
In case the printer homepage is
not displayed, refer to 3.5.4.1
'Adaptation of the PC IP
address' next page.
As an alternative, if it is not possible
to put the Service PC into the hospital
network:
(1)
Use a crossed network UTP
cable to connect the network
interface of the Service PC
directly with the network
interface of the printer.
Note: Many service PCs as of
approx. year 2006 do not
require a crossed network
cable: They autodetect the type
of connection (via hub or point-
to-point connection).

Start the browser (Internet
Explorer ≥ 5)

Enter the IP address of the
printer in the address window.
