4. WARNING: When lifting a battery, excessive pressure on the end walls may cause
acid to leak out through the vent caps, resulting in personal injury, damage to the vehicle
or the battery. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
Remove the battery by lifting from the corners of the battery.
5. NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms
may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle needs to be driven to
relearn the strategy.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
