14. Install the governor links as sho wn in Fig.
46.
15. Install the air cleaner manifold and attach
breather hose. Torque nuts to listed
values. See SECTION 14- ENGINE
SPECIFICATIONS.
16. Install fuel pump bracket (A) and fuel
pump (B).
17. Connect fuel l ines ([C] Fig. 47) to
carburetor and cylinder.
18. Install oil fill tube.
19. Install air cleaner assembly. See
SECTION 1- SAFETY, MAINTENANCE
AND ADJUSTMENTS.
20. Install oil filter adapter.

1. Install flywheel guard ([A] Fig. 49).
2. Install alternator with the power output
wires positioned as shown ([B] Fig. 49).
3. Install starter motor (C) with the bracket
for the voltage regulator ([D] Fig. 49).
Torque all mounting hardware to listed
values.
