Main Relay System Inspection - Honda 2003 NPS50 Ruckus Service Manual

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the inner cover (page 3-5).
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the ECM 6P and 26P connectors.
Remove the bolts and ECM.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
MAIN RELAY

SYSTEM INSPECTION
Make sure the battery line and ignition switch cir­
cuit of the ECM is normal, before performing this
inspection.
Remove the inner cover (page 3-5).
Remove the main relay.
1 . Main Relay Power Voltage Inspection
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Measure the voltage between the Red wire ter­
minal and ground.
Is there battery voltage?
NO
YES

Check for a n open or short circuit in '--- -.,.,. .
-
the wire harness.
Check for a blown main fuse (20A).
GO TO STEP 2.
