CRANKSHAFT /PISTON/CYLINDER
Apply engine oil to the crankcase bolt threads and
seating surfaces.
Install the bolts and tighten them in a crisscross pat­
tern in two or three steps.
TORQUE: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
Install a new sealing washer and drain bolt.
Tighten the drain bolt to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 1 8 lbf·ft)
Clean the belt case mating surface of the crankcase.
Install a new rubber seal onto the crankcase.
Install the centerstand, bolts and tighten the bolts
securely.
Install the belt case and tighten the bolts securely.
Install the following:
- Drive pulley (page 10-1 1 )
- Oil pump (page 5-7)
- Cylinder head/cam chain (page 9-18)
Install the engine into the frame (page 8-7).
