2. Fuel Indicator Line Inspection
Ground the Blue/white wire terminal of the 6P
Black connector with a jumper wire.
Measure the voltage between the Light green (+)
and Green/white (-) wire terminals of the fuel
reserve indicator 2P connector.
Is there approx. 3V7
NO
Faulty LED drive unit.

YES
Faulty LED.

When the indicator always lights during a operation
1 . Resistor Line Inspection (1)
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage between the Black wire ter
minal of the resistor 2P connector and Ground.
Does the voltage exist?
NO
- Open circuit in the Black wire between
the resistor 2P connector and main wire
harness.
GO TO STEP 3.
YES

2. Resistor Line Inspection (2)
Check the continuity of Blue/white wire between
the resistor and LED drive u nit.
Is there continuity?
NO
- Open circuit in wire harness
- GO TO STEP 3.
YES
3. Resistor Inspection
Disconnect the resistor 2P connector.
Measure the resistance between the Black and
Green wire terminals of the resistor 2P connec
tor.
STANDARD: 64 - 72 lill (20'C/68'F)

NO
Faulty resistor

YES
Short circuit in the Blue/white wire.

Faulty fuel reserve sensor.
