STARTING ENRICHMENT (SE) VALVE

Remove the SE valve cover, screw, set plate and SE
valve.
Inspect the SE valve and needle for stepped wear or
damage.

VACUUM CHAMBER

The vacuum Remove the screws while holding the vacuum

Remove the harness clamp stay (After '05 model

Remove the vacuum chamber cover, spring and dia­
phragm/vacuum piston assembly.
Check the piston for smooth operation up and down
in the carburetor body.
