DISASSEMBL
Remove the dowel pin, screw and oil pump cover.
Remove the oil pump outer rotor and inner rotor.
NOTE:
•
INSPECTION
Measure each clearance at several points and
use the largest reading to compare the service
limit.
Temporarily install the outer, inner rotors and
driven gear into the oil pump body.
Measure the tip clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.20 mm (0.008 in)
Measure the pump body clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.22 mm (0.009 in)
