Connection Procedures
Components
The following components comprise a generic surveying configuration:

Antenna
Connect the antenna cable from the antenna to the antenna TNC connector on the receiver.
If the small diameter of the antenna does not allow clearance for connecting the antenna
cable, you must use the vertical extension rod to elevate the antenna.
Serial/Power Cable
Connect the 25-pin serial cable to the 25-pin connector on the receiver. Connect a fully
charged battery to the power cable.
Power
Before applying power, connect any controller devices or data logging equipment to the
input/output ports of the receiver by way of the DB25 connector. Once the receiver has
been properly cabled, turn on the receiver by turning the ON/OFF switch to the ON
